The name of this project is taken from a truth in God's Word:
Psalm 127:3 NLT
"Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him."
This project focuses on children from birth to 21 years of age living in Honduras who are in vulnerable situations that put them at risk for trauma and emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual harm. This would include children in orphan care, transitional homes, and foster care.
These vulnerable children will be undergirded and supported through partnerships with orphanages and transition houses. This undergirding will include housing, education, training, and mentoring on an ongoing basis through continued partnerships with Go To Nations missionaries.
Another important aspect of this project includes support for the caregivers intervening in these dire situations by providing finances to meet the children's basic needs, and coming alongside them to offer training and resources, prayer support, and the emotional and spiritual reinforcements they desperately need.
