1991 Graduates of Christ For The Nations
Kim and I met at CFNI. She felt a missionary call from the time she was a preteen but it was at Christ For The Nations Institute, during the annual missions emphasis week, that God arrested my heart for missions. It was also at CFNI that a group of us students began to meet regularly and pray for the country of the Ivory Coast. This group included an international student from the Ivory Coast.
After I graduated from school I went up to New York where Kim was working in ministry and proposed to her. We were married and returned to CFNI to go through the charter class of the Christ For The Nations Institute's Third Year School of Missions in 1991.
Following graduation, Kim and I returned to my hometown in Florida where we served as youth pastors in our local church. A couple of years later we felt the Lord releasing us to the mission field. At that time, we reached out to our fellow classmate from the Ivory Coast and at his invitation we packed our bags.
In the Ivory Coast we started a Bible School with our friend and quickly affiliated it with the Christ For The Nations' Association of Bible Schools. It was also during these early years that we realized we needed a mission agency and God supernaturally connected us with Go To Nations which has been our apostolic family for over 20 years now. It was during this season that God begin to reveal to us a dual ministry emphasis of unreached nations and a focus on transformational ministry including Business as Missions.
Over the years, God has used us to start and lead mission teams, to develop a field-based missionary training program which is now a part of Go To Nations Timothy Internship Program, and to develop an international missions seminar series that has impacted pastors in over 60 nations. We have launched business incubators in seven countries, developed curricula for business as missions, authored books, founded businesses, planted churches, and much more. God planted the seeds for all of this at Christ For The Nations Institute and has nurtured it within the Go To Nations family.
