Go To Nations Missionaries Serving in The Middle East
1997 Graduates of CFNI
It was at Christ for the Nations' School of Missions that I felt equipped for my call as a missionary to the nations. Within the next few years after graduation, my wife and I were serving as missionaries in the Philippines. It was there that we were reconnected to Craig and Sandra Kuehn, Christ For The Nations Institute graduates and missionaries with Go To Nations whom I had met on a CFNI summer outreach to Asia with Connie McKenzie and Sharon Hobbs.
With the Kuehn's encouragement and leadership, we joined Go To Nations as we also launched Camp Sonshine Center Foundation, a holistic ministry to the urban poor of our city in the Philippines. Over our nine years of service in the Philippines, we saw the ministry flourish as many CFNI summer outreaches came alongside us nearly every summer. Some of those students stayed on and became full-time missionaries with us and Go To Nations.
We also sent several promising Filipinos to Christ For The Nations Institute as scholarship students where they became world changers in the Philippines, the United States of America, and in the United Kingdom. Our ministry location eventually became a training and sending center for many more CFNI School of Global Missions Majors as they participated in Go To Nations' Timothy Internship Program as their Field School training in the nations.
I can only imagine the countless testimonies of changed lives across continents as many of those Christ For The Nations students also joined Go To Nations as full-time missionaries. CFNI and Go To Nations are a powerful, world-changing combination with a shared heart and legacy to change the world and prepare ministers and missionaries for long-term success in the nations.
During my tenure as the Director of the Global Missions Major, I was thrilled with the training Go To Nations offered CFNI students with the Timothy Internship Program for those who chose this as their field school option. It was even more satisfying for me to see CFNI students with a missions call link arms with Go To Nations as their sending agency and be placed on the mission field as full-time missionaries. This often happened just months after graduating from Christ For The Nations.
After my time at CFNI, I am now thrilled to be back on the mission field serving in the Middle East and dreaming of seeing Jesus' heartfelt prayer for laborers to be released for the harvest. I hope that many of these laborers will be rooted in training and experience at Christ for the Nations before being released in the nations as Go To Nations missionaries!
